About the season

How boxing start times work

A boxing night has three parts: the undercard, the main card and the main event. Broadcasters announce when the main card starts. The main event ring walks follow when the fights before it are done, so a quick knockout brings them forward and a long fight pushes them back.

Big events in Saudi Arabia and the UK are usually set for late evening local time. That means the early hours of the morning in much of Europe and the afternoon or evening in the Americas. Each fight page shows both times in 15 regions.

Prices differ a lot by country: the same fight can be a pay-per-view in one country and part of a normal subscription in another. Each fight page lists the official option for your country.

Saturday 31 October 2026 against Christian Mbilli in Riyadh, for Mbilli's WBC super middleweight title.
When is Fury vs Joshua?
Friday 11 December 2026 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, live on Netflix. The ring walks are expected around 1:00 am UK time.
Are big fights always pay-per-view?
No. Canelo vs Mbilli is a DAZN pay-per-view, but Fury vs Joshua is included with Netflix, and most Queensberry cards come with a normal DAZN subscription.
Why do big fights start so late?
Main events are set for prime time in the host city or in the biggest TV market, usually the US. That often means the early hours in Europe. Each fight page shows the time where you are.
