About the season
The NBA's biggest regular-season dates
Christmas Day is the NBA's showcase: five games back to back, from noon to late night US time, all on ABC and ESPN in 2026.
December also brings the Emirates NBA Cup knockouts. The quarter-finals are on 4 and 5 December and the semi-finals in the week of 8 December, both at the higher seed's arena. The final is on Friday 11 December at Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. In the US all seven knockout games are on Prime Video.
Tip-offs are set in US Eastern time, so evening games land in the middle of the night in Europe. Outside the US, NBA League Pass shows every game, and many countries have a local broadcaster too.
